2020 is a year that we'll all remember. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we work, shop, communicate, hang out with friends. Many families faced the tragedy this virus has brought :(

Of course, the pandemic affected me as well (+-) both in my personal and professional life. I am a Front End developer with a passion for Angular framework, willing to help and evolve. Professionally I feel that it was a good year.

Below are my achievements and contributions to the Angular community.

Book

A new world has unfolded for me, and I met what it takes to author a book. Although it is still in progress...
  • Title: Mastering Angular Reactive Forms

Trainings

The best feeling ever is the thank you responses. It puts a big smile on my face when I know that I helped someone in his/her career path.

Meetup talks

I still remember my first talk. I was so nervous and felt my mouth dry all the time. My heart was beating so fast and loud that I thought that the audience would hear it :)

I like talking in meetups and conferences because I have to study a lot before a talk and to be prepared as much as possible. I usually spend hours learning and researching for my talk to share the best of it.
My goal in each talk is to leave the audience with an itch. The more questions I have in the end, the better. The "thank you" message at the end is the best feeling.

Online videos

We watch YouTube videos almost every day. I was always thinking, "what it takes to make a video on YT?"

For making the videos, among other things, I had to study how to video and audio edit. Also, I had to learn how to look natural in the camera and not like I read a transcript. The first videos failed big time, so I had to record them again and again. Are they OK now? I would say they are OKish. I have much more to learn, but it is a nice journey so far.

Courses

"I have good experience in teaching, so it would be easy to have a course in Udemy!"

Yeah! That's what I thought before I had started my first video. Some of the things that I have learned are: green screen, material gathering, organizing the edited videos in the file system, lighting, screen recording, video editing, audio editing, avoiding lagging :)
Well, It wasn't that easy, but I enjoyed it a lot, and I will definitely come up with new courses.

Articles

While blogging, I express myself, my thoughts, and how I perceive a subject. Although I may have something concrete and crystal clear in my mind, writing about it makes me realize that I have to read a lot more to know the best about it. Every article, regardless of its size, helps me become better.

The more you know, the less you know!
